Aug 19 2008     Web site maintenance

I've just updated the portal software on the web site and changed to another visual theme(hope you like it). Also a few things has been moved around and I've cleaned up the categories in the forum.

The CineGobs Keyer tutorials from the forum has been removed. They were written for one of the very first versions of CineGobs Keyer and was therefore useless when used with the current version. So I decided to remove them. It's my plan to make a few new tutorials for the next version. So stay tuned.

For the last week I've been sick and therefore haven't been able to work on CineGobs Keyer, but hopefully I'll continue working on it in a few days. As you can see in the "Planned changes" much is already done, but there are still a lot to do before releasing it.

Jul 20 2008     CineGobs Keyer Help file

For those wanting to read the documentation off-line, I've compiled the current Dokuwiki into an HTML Help file.

In the next version of CineGobs Keyer I'll see if I can integrate the help file into the software.

It's been quite a while since the last update of CineGobs keyer. The reason is that I wanted to add a simple four-point garbage matte, but one thing led to another and suddenly it was turning into a masking/rotoscoping system based on bezier splines.

Here's a small screenshot of the current prototype:

The bezier masks can be animated using keyframes with interpolation and you're able to add as many masks as you like. I have lot's of stuff planned for masking/rotoscoping, but the first release will only cover the basics.

Here's another screenshot showing the mask activated:

I can't say when it'll be ready for release since there's a lot of work still to be done, but hopefully it'll be a great addition to CineGobs keyer.
